![]() JAE Notice "The Journal of Applied Econometrics has generously offered to sponsor participation costs for 3 African researchers who are 30 years of age or less who have had abstracts accepted for the conference. Eligible participants who wish to apply for this competitive funding must do so by emailing their application to: Professor Stan Du Plessis (stan@sun.ac.za) The application should provide a paper title and confirmation that the abstract has been accepted for the 2007 AES Conference to be held in Cape Town from 4-6 July. It should also provide a budget for participation including airfare, registration fee and accommodation costs. It is important to note that those who wish to apply for this funding need to register for the conference, book accommodation and pay for registration fees and accommodation costs through the regular online application procedure. In addition, they need to make their own flight arrangements.
