Registration for AES 2008 is open.
 
REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Registration will only be valid once payment is received.
  2. The following methods of payment are possible: Payments by cheque, bank deposits, or credit card payments.

    • Cheque / EFT
      Payments should be made payable to the University of Pretoria and mailed to: 2008 AES Conference Organising Committee, Department of Economics, University of Pretoria, 0002.
    • Deposit / Bankers Draft / Transfer
      Bank details are provided below. It is very important to include the following reference number with electronic payment to enable us to locate the payment in the University account: AM973/3545. Kindly fax proof of payment to the 2008 AES Conference Organising Committee on +27-12-362-5207 or email to aes2008@up.ac.za.

  3. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 30 days or no shows.
  4. Completed registrations will be acknowledged within 7 days.
  5. Registration fees are payable in South African Rands (ZAR). Any short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged back to the delegate in question.

ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

HOTEL RESERVATION PROCEDURE
  1. Conference delegates are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transport between the airport and hotel. Information on accommodation possibilities and suppliers of transport services can be found on the Venue and Accommodation page.
  2. To ensure that your accommodation is secure, please book prior to 1st June 2007. Rates and availability are guaranteed in two of the hotels until this time. Any accommodation requests received by hotels after this date will be dealt with on a per availability basis.
PASSPORT DETAILS
Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be required to complete a form with your address and passport details.
