REGISTRATION
Registration for AES 2007 is open. To register as a delegate and to reserve accommodation, please follow the steps below. Before commencing with registration, please confirm that: COLLOQUIUM REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Registration will only be valid once all monies are received. 2. All payments to be made payable to AES 2007. 3. All cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellation between 90 and 30 days will be refunded 50% of the fees less the administration fees; if registration fees are outstanding the delegate will be liable for 50% of the colloquium fees. No refunds will be provided for cancellations and no shows within 30 days of the start of the colloquium and the delegate will be liable for the full colloquium fee. 4. Completed registrations will be acknowledged within 7 days. 5. Registrations are transferable to delegates not yet registered only if the Conference Secretariat is informed in writing. 6. All fees are payable in South African Rands (ZAR). Any short payment resulting from bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations will be charged back to the delegate in question. ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS HOTEL RESERVATION PROCEDURE 1. Reservations will be made on behalf of delegates by theAES 2007 Secretariat. Please complete the appropriate section on the registration form specifying single or double occupancy, check-in/ check-out dates, and any other special requests. 2. To ensure that your accommodation is secure, please book prior to 4th June 2007. Any accommodation requests received after this date will be dealt with on a per availability basis. 3. In order to secure your accommodation, full prepayment is required. Please ensure that your credit card is valid through the end of your stay, failing which the booking may not be guaranteed. Any extras must be settled in South African Rand (ZAR) upon check-out. 4. In the case of cancellation, the deposit paid is not refundable. Should you fail to arrive as scheduled, the hotel will charge for the loss of revenue for the night or nights in question. Deposits apply only to the original booking made and are not transferable. PLEASE NOTE All reservations are made on a 'first come, first served' basis. The stated room rates and availability are valid through 4th June 2007. Thereafter, no rates or availability can be guaranteed and requests will be dealt with according to the current availability and rates at the hotels. PASSPORT DETAILS Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be required to complete a form with your address and passport details. If you wish to speed up this process, please complete your passport details on the Colloquium Registration Form (nationality, passport number and expiry date). This will ensure that you only need sign the pre-completed form on arrival. |
